Welcome to the fourth issue of Cases on Leadership for Equity and Justice in Higher Education (CLEJHE). CLEJHE is an ongoing, peer-reviewed, open-access publication dedicated to case studies that address complex issues affecting higher education leadership and policy.

The case studies explore varied daily situations encountered in colleges and universities across the United States through an equity lens. The journal’s exercises allow readers to practice responding to circumstances affecting faculty, staff, students, and the academic community. Case studies facilitate the application of strategic and just decision-making techniques to various scenarios. These case studies also provide an opportunity to engage with ambiguity while maintaining a purposeful focus.

We strive for this journal to be a practical, relevant, and easily accessible teaching tool that promotes equity alongside higher education leaders.
